Matt Barbour joined the Channel 3 Eyewitness News team in September 2011 as a reporter from WEHT-TV in Evansville, Indiana where he was also a reporter.
Matt got his start in broadcasting as an intern for WSB-TV in Atlanta before landing a job as a reporter/anchor for WYMT-TV in Hazard, Kentucky. He also reported for WYMT's sister station, WKYT, in Lexington.
While earning his Bachelor's degree in Journalism from Georgia State University, Matt also served an internship with the I-Team for WJLA-TV in Washington, DC.
Matt was also invited to participate in the International Scholar Laureate Program in Melbourne and Sydney, Australia.
