CHATTANOOGA (WRCB) – Deputies are releasing new information on a multiple vehicle crash that happened on Highway 58 Tuesday morning.
The Hamilton County Sheriff's Office says 20-year-old Cody Beavers of Dalton was travelling north on Highway 58 when his car drifted into oncoming traffic around 7:00 a.m. Tuesday.
Deputies say Beavers sideswiped a van driven by 60-year-old Daniel Lynn and a pickup truck driven by 55-year-old Michael Spivey. HCSO says Beavers then struck 31-year-old Quincy Hall, who was riding on a motorcycle, head-on.
Hall was seriously injured in the crash and transported to a local hospital. Officials say Hall's injuries are non-life-threatening.
No one else was injured in the crash.
Deputies cited Beavers with driving left of the center line and having an expired tag.
