Gross and Millings win Tennessee Valley Bass Club final season tournament

CHATTANOOGA (WRCB) - Tennessee Valley Bass Club had 29 boats to come out and fish on beautiful Nickajack Lake out of Shellmound boat ramp Saturday for the final points event of their 2010 - 2011 season.
The Team of Buddy Gross and James Millings came out on top with a five fish limit weight 17.30 lbs. to take the win and the first place prize of $810.
Big fish of the tournament went to the team of Chris Talley and Jeremy Shavers with a largemouth bass weighing 4.83 lbs. and earning them $290.
The team of Mark Riggs and Rob Moore received the highest finishing Tow Boat U.S. award which earned them an extra $100 bonus.
Tennessee Valley Bass Club will hold its year-end Classic on September 24th & 25th on Lake Guntersville.
The following teams rounded out the remainder of the places in the money:
2nd: Mark Riggs / Rob Moore - 14.26 lbs ($419.00) 3rd: Rick Camp / Anthony Blevins - 14.19 lbs ($209.00) 4th: Brian Cash / Michael Hogwood - 12.82 lbs ($104.00) 5th: Chris Talley / Jeremy Shavers - 12.70 lbs ($80.00) 6th: Brad Harmon / John Biffle - 12.32 lbs 7th: Cody Holloway / Cam Steele - 12.01 lbs 8th: Barry Wingo / Jamie Hatcher - 11.17 lbs 9th: Scott Rogers / Hensley Powell - 10.91 lbs 10th: Andy Melton / Joe Melton - 10.85 lbs
