Police look for Wal-Mart camera theft suspects
CLEVELAND (WRCB) - Detectives are looking for the people responsible for stealing more than $1,500 worth of items from the south WalMart in Bradley County.
The Bradley County Sheriff's Office has taken warrants for Steven Dale Simmons and Pansy Renee Beard. Simmons has charges of theft over $1,000 and theft over $500. Beard has been charged only with theft over $500.
Police say the both suspects walked into the store on June 16 and took several cameras from a display case. Simmons returned August 5 and took several more cameras, according to detectives.
Simmons is 34 years old and approximately six feet tall. He has brown hair and brown eyes and weighs approximately 220 pounds.
Beard is 32 years old. She is approximately 5'6" tall and has hazel eyes and brown hair.
Information developed by detectives indicates Simmons may have lived at Chestuee Crossing in Athens recently. Beard used to live in an apartment on Keith Street in Cleveland.
