EAST RIDGE, HAMILTON COUNTY (WRCB) – East Ridge SWAT was called in to make an arrest of a man believed to be featured on Crime Stoppers.

Wednesday afternoon around noon, East Ridge Police, aided by Chattanooga Police and the US Marshals, attempted to serve arrest warrant on 24-year-old Jevonte Green at a home on Tanager Circle.

According to police, a woman in the home said Green was in the home, but he refused to come out. Police called in the East Ridge SWAT team, and Green was arrested without further incident.

Green is charged with three counts of aggravated robbery and one count of aggravated burglary. Police say Green robbed three people at gun point on August 7th at the Knights Inn located at 6650 Ringgold Road.

The robbery was featured in a Crime Stoppers report on Sunday.

East Ridge officials say Green was also wanted on theft and vandalism charges in Chattanooga and probation violation from the Hamilton County Sheriff. Green also has a warrant for failure to pay child support out of Georgia.

Green is expected to appear in East Ridge Municipal Court on September 6.
