Bar fight next to police car leads to several arrests

CHATTANOOGA (WRCB) - A brawl outside a bar and next to a Chattanooga Police cruiser led to several arrests on Friday morning.

According to a news release to Channel 3 Eyewitness News, the suspects were leaving Fire and Ice Bar located at 807 Market Street early Friday morning.

Chattanooga Police were stationed outside of the bar when several people poured out of the building reportedly arguing with one another. A group from the crowd then began fighting directly beside a police car parked outside of the bar.

People from the group began punching and kicking one another despite police trying to break them up and clear the area, according to the release. Officers were able to break up this particular fight but the same group of people walked to 8th and Market where they continued to yell and cause a scene.

At the same time a separate group began fighting and this incident quickly produced other small incidents in various other locations in the immediate vicinity.

Officers arrested the following people:  

Dedrick Hall- disorderly conduct and assault at 807 Market Street

Demetrius Daniel- disorderly conduct at 807 Market Street

Clevon Hall- disorderly conduct at 700 Cherry Street

Kelvin Watkins- disorderly conduct 700 Market Street

Cindy Cross- disorderly conduct at 800 Market Street

LaDarrius Bradley- disorderly conduct at 807 Market Street

Police say Quintell Walker was kicked repeatedly in the head and body by Dedrick Hall and was taken to a local hospital for unknown injuries. His condition is also unknown at this time.
