UPDATE: Man identified in Watts Bar drowning

MEIGS COUNTY, TN. (WRCB)-- A man who reportedly drowned on Watts Bar Lake in Meigs County Saturday night has been identified.

Our partners at the Chattanooga Times Free Press report 57-year-old Randall Bardill of Harriman, Tennessee was found floating in the water by boaters just before 6:00 pm.

Officials tell Channel 3 the victim was discovered near the Euchee Marina.

Someone jumped in to help, but realized the man was unresponsive.

He was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim's sister told police her brother went swimming off their boat, and never returned.
