Inmate killed at Hays State Prison

CHATTOOGA COUNTY, GA (WRCB) -- An inmate was killed Saturday at Hays State Prison after being attacked by an inmate.

The Atlanta Journal Constitution reports the Georgia Bureau of Investigation is trying to determine the motive for the attack and who was involved.

The AJC reports the a Department of Corrections spokeswoman cited agency's policy is to not comment on pending litigation.
