TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (AP) - Mark Barron doesn't spend much time either talking or worrying about what ifs.
Alabama's quiet All-America safety might have been a first-round NFL draft pick after his junior season but for a torn pectoral muscle that also affected him on a touchdown pass against Auburn.
Barron admits he "probably" would have entered the draft if he hadn't sustained the injury that required surgery and kept him out of the Capital One Bowl. And he's "100 percent" sure that catch by Auburn's Terrell Zachery at least wouldn't have been a score if Barron had been able to lift his right arm.
He says he doesn't dwell on those things.
Teammates say the two-time All-Southeastern Conference pick is one of the Crimson Tide's most respected players, even if he doesn't talk much.
