EAST RIDGE, TN. (WRCB)-- East Ridge Police arrested a man they think is responsible for car break-ins in the Mission Oaks neighborhood.

Marvin Hines is charged with auto burglary, illegal possession of a credit card and other crimes.

Police spokesperson Eric Hopkins says around 3:30 Thursday morning, police spotted a green Toyota Corolla while on patrol, a car described by burglary victims.

Police say Hines was wearing gloves and had a screw driver in his lap when they found him in the passenger seat.

The driver ran from police during the traffic stop and was never located.

Further charges are pending.

TESTED: Best bets for booster seats

    Tuesday, November 21 2017 4:11 AM EST2017-11-21 09:11:10 GMT

The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety has tested 16 new booster seats for 2017, all but 3 have earned the agency's highest rating of "best bet."

The "best bet" rating means a booster provides a good safety belt fit for a typical 4 to 8 year old child in almost any car, minivan or SUV.
