Snapped pole causes power outage in East Ridge

EAST RIDGE, HAMILTON CO., TN (WRCB) - Parts of East Ridge were without power for much of the morning Thursday after a utility pole snapped in the 6800 block of Ringgold Road.

It happened around 2:30AM and police are not sure yet what happened.

At it's peak, more than 500 homes and businesses were without power.
