UPDATE 2: Fatal wrong-way crash on I-75 S

Posted: Updated:

HAMILTON COUNTY, TN (WRCB) - Interstate 75 Southbound at the Bradley-Hamilton county line has reopened after a wrong-way crash kept it closed for most of Thursday morning.

Troopers with the Tennessee Highway Patrol say a pick-up driven by Steven Clark, of Scottsboro, Alabama, struck a tractor trailer head-on around 4:00 am.

Troopers say Clark pulled out of the Scenic Overlook and began traveling north in the southbound lanes of I-75.

Clark, who wasn't wearing a seatbelt, was ejected from his vehicle and died at the scene.

The driver of the 18-wheeler wasn't injured.
