Showers expected Tuesday afternoon

Posted: Updated:

CHATTANOOGA (WRCB) - During the drive time Tuesday afternoon, we may see a few isolated storms popping up that could produce some severe weather in the form of gusty winds and small hail.

Heavy rain and lightning would, of course, accompany these storms as well.

This is associated with a front that will sweep through Tuesday night and clear things out for Wednesday.

Wednesday will be mostly sunny and slightly lower humidity with highs in the low 90s.  Temperatures will continue to trend downward falling into the upper 80s over the weekend.

We have several ways to keep you informed. You can track pop-up showers and zoom right to your neighborhood on the iRadar.

Search "WRCB" for free local weather apps on iPhone, iPad and Droid. Other mobile devices can use m.WRCBtv.com.
