Wounded Marine back home in the TN Valley

MEIGS COUNTY, TN (WRCB) - A Meigs County Marine wounded in July in Afghanistan is back home.

Private first class Brandon Pendergrass was injured when his unit's vehicle ran over an IED.

He suffered injuries to his wrist and back.

Pfc Pendergrass returned to the U.S. a couple of weeks ago, and was receiving treatment at a naval medical center in Virginia.

His family tells us, he will not require any surgery.
