Suspect in double shooting behind bars

CHATTANOOGA (WRCB) A suspect accused of fatally shooting a man and critically wounding his girlfriend, is behind bars.

Twenty four year old Jerrico Hawthorne was arrested Saturday morning for the shooting that happened last Thursday night.

Investigators found him at the Motel 6 on Lee Highway.

Hawthorne was one of two suspects believed to have fatally shot 23 year old James Williams, Junior and wounding his girlfriend during a robbery.

Hawthorne is facing murder and robbery charges.
