CLEVELAND, BRADLEY COUNTY, TN. (WRCB)—Cleveland Police are investigating a single-car crash on Keith Street, which ultimately claimed the life of the driver.

Police spokesperson Evie West says a white car carrying two males and one female somehow hit an embankment, around 4:00 pm, Friday.

West says two of the victims were flown to Erlanger from the scene. The third victim was taken to Skyridge Medical Center, before being airlifted to Erlanger as well.

The driver, 20-year-old Robert Malone, died from his injuries around 11:00 Saturday morning. The passengers have been identified as 20-year-old Megan Cooper and 21-year-old Ethan Robinson.

Robinson is still in the hospital in an unknown condition. Cooper has been released.

West says the cause of the accident is unclear at this time.
