Zombies swarm TVA, protest nuclear

Posted: Updated:

CHATTANOOGA (WRCB) –  A small, but determined, horde of the undead shuffled through Downtown Chattanooga Wednesday to protest in front of the TVA headquarters.

The flash mob protest was organized by Sustainable Chattanooga to protest the TVA's decision to complete the unfinished Bellefonte Nuclear Plant, which the organization describes "neither alive nor dead".

About 15 to 20 walkers turned out for the protest, wearing make-up and carrying anti-nuclear signs.

WRCB has a crew at the protest and will have more tonight on Eyewitness News Live at Five.
