CHATTANOOGA (WRCB)-- Chattanooga Police have named a suspect in a triple shooting that occurred over the 4th of July weekend.

Police spokesperson Sergeant Jerri Weary says warrants have been issued for Cordalro Strickland for the murder of Melvin "Brando" Fennell on July 3rd.

Weary says it is believed Strickland fatally shot Fennell in the doorway of his Arlington Avenue home.

Two friends of Fennell were also shot. Police say 24-year-old Calvin Garner and 21-year-old Mariah Stoudemire suffered non-life threatening injuries.

Fennell later died at Erlanger Hospital after taking several bullet wounds to his chest.

If you have any information leading to the arrest of Cordalro Strickland, you're asked to call the Chattanooga Police Department.
