CLEVELAND, BRADLEY COUNTY, TN (WRCB) In Cleveland, the police department wants to help women stay safe.

That's why they're holding a free rape aggression defense class for all women ages 14 and older.

The class will teach women realistic self-defense tactics and techniques.

You'll learn how to be aware of what's going on, and how to reduce the risk of this type of violence happening to you.

The first class will be held Tuesday from 5pm to 8pm at the police department.

You must attend all four classes, which will be held July 12th, July 14th, July 19th, and July 21st.
