Name released in weekend fatal fire, still no cause

CHATTANOOGA (WRCB) -- Fire investigators are still trying to determine what started a weekend fire that lead to the death of a Chattanooga woman.

The Hamilton County Medical Examiner's Office confirmed today that Rebecca Ann Moore, 49, died from smoke inhalation after fire raced through her home shortly before 7:00 a.m. Saturday.

Her boyfriend, Jonathon Havron, said that when the two woke to the smell of smoke, he wanted to get out of the house, but Ms. Moore wanted get her dog first. The two became separated and Mr. Havron said he escaped through a window.

Ms. Moore's body was found by firefighters inside the house. 

The investigation continues.
