LIVELINES: SOCIAL SECURITY LEGAL QUESTIONS

If you ever find yourself needing social security disability, working your way through the legal process can be difficult and frustrating.

Attorney Eric Buchanan was our guest this morning.

He said while it is not required to have an attorney, the law may be changing to make it necessary to work your way through the process.

Eric told us the SSA is changing the rules that the judge does not need to re contact the treating physician to get an opinion, so if the person does not have an attorney, they might not get that opinion.

TESTED: Best bets for booster seats

    Tuesday, November 21 2017 4:11 AM EST2017-11-21 09:11:10 GMT

The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety has tested 16 new booster seats for 2017, all but 3 have earned the agency's highest rating of "best bet."

The "best bet" rating means a booster provides a good safety belt fit for a typical 4 to 8 year old child in almost any car, minivan or SUV.
