Move in day for 3 Habitat families
CHATTANOOGA (WRCB)-- Three Chattanooga families are homeowners Saturday evening.
Habitat for Humanity finished its first multiple unit building and dedicated it to three deserving families.
It's the first home Telisha McKinley and her two children have ever owned.
"It means a lot to me," says McKinley. "It means blessed for me and my kids to just have somewhere and call our own home."
Officials say the town home project is an opportunity to give would-be homeowners an option.
To date, Chattanooga's Habitat for Humanity has built more than 225 single-family homes.
