CHATTANOOGA (WRCB)-- Severe weather left its mark as it moved through the Channel 3 viewing area Saturday afternoon. Here's a county-by-county look at the damage.

EPB reports as of 4:00 pm, Sunday, more than 500 homes and businesses are without power in the Lookout Mountain area (Tennessee & Georgia). Report outages by calling 423-648-1372.


Hamilton County: Dispatch reports all roads clear at 10:50 am, Sunday.

Bradley County: Dispatch says no damage has been reported at this time.

Marion County: At 12:45 pm Sunday, dispatch reports all roads are open.

Polk County: At 11:50 am, dispatchers for Polk County and Ducktown report all roads are clear and no storm-related injuries were reported.

The National Weather Service received a report from the County Fire Department of a funnel cloud in Conasauga around 4:15 pm, Saturday. Dispatch says three downed trees were reported west of Benton at 5:00 pm.


North Georgia EMC reports 9,000 customers are without power as of 4:00 pm, Sunday. About 20 crews are working to repair outages, but due to the severity of damage, some customers may be without power until Monday. Georgia Power reports as of 6:20 am, Sunday about 4,000 customers are without power in north Georgia. The utility says Ellijay, Chatsworth, Dalton, Trenton were the hardest hit areas. They expect to have outages repaired by noon, Monday. Report outages by calling 1-888-891-0938.

A representative for Dalton Utilities says there are outages, but are unsure of how many and when they would be repaired. Eyewitness News is working to get the information and will share it with you once it is released. Report outages by calling 706-278-1313.

Catoosa County: Dispatch reports Alabama Highway and all other roads are now open.

Dade County: As of 11:55 am Sunday, no updates were available. All lines were busy at Dade County communications.

Murray County: At 11:15 am Sunday, dispatch says roads are clear and no storm damage reports have come in at this point.

Walker County: Dispatch says most main roads have been cleared, but reports of a few downed trees are still being reported. Dispatch also says there are still outages in downtown Chickamauga. 

Whitfield County: Dispatch, as of 11:20 am Sunday, urges drivers to use caution on all roads throughout the county.
