CHATTANOOGA (WRCB) – Though we will not see any severe weather (hail, tornadoes), we still need to be on our toes a bit.

We can expect on again, off again isolated showers and storms through the day and into the evening hours.

The further we get into the evening, the smaller our chance for rain and storms.

If you are heading out to Riverbend, of course carry the umbrella.  I doubt there will be any significant issues with the Alan Jackson part of the night (he takes the Coke Stage at 9:30), but I can't rule out a passing shower that late.

Over the weekend, we will have only a slight chance of a storm or two in the afternoon.  For the most part the weekend (and most of next week) will be characterized by hot, humid weather with temps in the low to mid 90s.

We have several ways to keep you informed. Updated Watches and Warnings will scroll on the screen throughout the day.

You can track and zoom the rain right to your neighborhood on the iRadar. Search "WRCB" for free local weather apps on iPhone and Droid. Other mobile devices can use
