SEQUATCHIE COUNTY (WRCB) - A hang-glider was seriously injured during a windstorm Sunday.

Sequatchie County Chief Deputy Randall Lockhart tells Eyewitness News the hang glider jumped of the ramp on Lewis Chapel Mountain around 4:00 p.m. Sunday.

The glider crashed in the valley off Tommy Austin Lane.

We're told the hang glider suffered some head trauma and had to be taken to a hospital by Lifeforce.

The sheriff's office has not released the person's identity.
