MARION COUNTY, TN. (WRCB)—The Tennessee Highway Patrol is investigating an early morning crash that claimed three lives.
THP spokesperson Jennifer Donnals says the accident happened on Big Fork Road around 4:20 am Saturday.
Donnals says the driver of a 2001 Jeep, 37-year-old Eric D. Blevins of Chattanooga, left the roadway while handling a curve, overcorrected, and rolled.
The three passengers, 20-year-old Nicholas S. Clayton, and 21-year-Emily F. Clayton, both of Sale Creek, along with 24-year old Annie E. Blevins of Chattanooga, were ejected from the vehicle and ultimately died.
All three were not wearing seatbelts.
The driver was airlifted to Erlanger.
Investigators believe another vehicle may have been involved and ask anyone with information to call the THP's Chattanooga Headquarters at 423-634-5856.
