CHATTANOOGA (WRCB)-- AT&T says local customers may have had a difficult time when it came to placing or receiving phone calls, Thursday, due to service interruptions.

A spokesperson for the company says the issue was repaired and those affected should now have full use of their mobile devices.

"AT&T wireless service is now fully restored for customers in the Knoxville, Chattanooga, Tri-Cities and East Tennessee markets," says Senior Public Relations Manager Cathy Lewandowski. "We apologize for any inconvenience as a result of the service interruption earlier today."
