DEKALB COUNTY, ALABAMA -- Esther Rosson, 81, died Wednesday, April 27, 2011, at her residence.

Mrs. Rosson is survived by her sons, Jerry (Heather) Rosson and Danny Rosson, of Rainsville; daughters, Barbara (Charles) Poe, of Henagar, Joan (Gene) Bannister, Mary (Michael) Hall, Annette Thomas, and Joyce (Danny) Ayers, of Rainsville; 19 grandchildren; and a host of great and great great grandchildren.

Mrs. Rosson was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Rosson; son, Steve Ball and his wife, Glenda; sisters, Nettie Galloway, Nellie Broyles and Lillian McKenney; brothers, Clarence Combs and Ulyss Combs; and parents, Samuel and Lou Combs.
