ATHENS, McMINN COUNTY (AP) - Folks headed to Athens, Tenn., this weekend should have a dairy good time. It's MooFest.

The 2-day event beginning Friday celebrates the family-friendly aspects of the cow.

Elaine Newman is the Grand MooMa of the weekend and she says there'll be food, music, arts, crafts and fun. Organizers might slip in a little education about the dairy industry. Did we mention ice cream?

Admission is $3, kids under 6 are free. Proceeds go to the YMCA, Boy Scouts and other community non-profit groups.
