DEKALB COUNTY, ALABAMA -- Gene O. Bullock, age 65, of Rainsville passed away Wednesday, April 27, 2011.

Gene Bullock spent time working in Texas, South Africa and Sudan as an oil-driller.

Mr. Bullock went almost every day to the Rainsville Huddle House, a local spot for coffee and talk.

Mr. Bullock is survived by his daughter, Tracy Bullock; sons, Jeffery Bullock, Leland Bullock and Gene Bullock; sisters, Clara Morgan, Helen Creacy, Dorothy Bradney and Ann Richmond; and brothers, James Bullock, Ben Bullock, Charlie Bullock and Joe Bullock.
