JACKSON COUNTY, ALABAMA -- John Osbern Whited, 77, died Wednesday, April 27, 2011, from storm related injuries.

He died with his wife, Elease Whited and daughter, Shelba Jean Shannon.

He is survived by sons, Gerald O. Whited(Malana), Higdon, Anthony R. Whited, Flat Rock; brothers, Charles Whited, Higdon, David Whited, Winder, Ga., Donald Whited, Ider; sisters, Mozell Teat, Higdon, Virginia Wilborn, Winder, Ga., Sue Eley Winder, Ga, Shirley England, Buford, Ga.; eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Mr. Whited was a member of Owensby Chapel Seventh-day Adventist Church.
