Trenton: Jerry Williams

TRENTON, DADE COUNTY, GA --Jerry Douglas Williams Sr., 49, passed away Wednesday, April 27, 2011, from injuries sustained from the tornado in Trenton, Ga.

He was a lifelong resident of Trenton and was currently working for Koch Foods in Tiftonia. For most of his life Jerry was a heavy equipment operator having worked for Vulcan and Florida Rock.

Jerry was a caring, giving, and loving man whose passions in life were his family, friends, and fishing.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jerry "Buddy" and Violet "Fay" Williams.

Survivors include his son, Jerry Douglas Williams Jr., of Chickamauga; three brothers, Terry Ike (Paulette) WilliamsSr., Gary Lee "Bud" Williams, and Elbert Lee (Amy) Williams, all of Trenton; three sisters, Violet Marie (Steve) Beaudoin, of Trenton, Vilette Lurana (Chad) Palmer, of Trenton, and Ann Marie Williams, of East Ridge; and several nieces, nephews, greatnieces, and great-nephews.
