CHATTANOOGA (WRCB) – Police are investigating a bank robbery on Hixson Pike.
According to Chattanooga Police, the robbery happened Monday around 9:30 a.m. at the Regions Bank at 3894 Hixson Pike.
Investigators say an armed black male, 6'4" tall and weighing about 250 pounds walked into the Region Bank and demanded money. He then ordered everyone into the vault and closed the door.
Officers say the suspect fled with an unspecified amount of money from the tellers.
He was wearing large sunglasses, a dark olive colored hoodie, and a white "allergy" type mask.
