EPB rate could rise to pay for storm cleanup
CHATTANOOGA (WRCB) -- The massive cleanup will likely show up on your power bill.
EPB says it cost more than $30 million to clean up.
That's way more than the two million dollars budgeted for the year and they want to raise rates five percent in July.
That would be in addition to any fuel cost increase from TVA.
EPB's increase must be approved by their board, and TVA.
