CHATTANOOGA (WRCB) -- Chattanooga Police identified victims of two separate fatal crashes, both happened Wednesday night.
The first wreck was on Brainerd Road, Police say 84 year old Mary Thornhill crashed into car, and then a utility pole. She died on the way to the hospital.
Eyewitnesses said Thornhill appeared to be suffering from a medical condition, while trying to turn onto tunnel boulevard.
The woman she hit was taken to the hospital, but her condition isn't known.
A 46-year-old father died an hour later in a crash on Noah Reid Road.
Police say a dog darted out in front of James Stanfield's car, and he swerved to miss it. He ended up hitting a tree and died instantly.
Stanfield's son was in the car with him and suffered a broken arm.
The Bradley County Sheriff's office is reporting a motorcycle accident on Lower River Road.
