UPDATED: Weekend prayer vigil, search for missing woman

Posted: Updated:

SIGNAL MTN, TN (WRCB) The search for a missing Signal Mountain mother, and her Jeep, continues.

Over 50 volunteers in two dozen vehicles went in to search for Gail Palmgren Sunday.  An entire search of Signal Mountain was completed, with no sign of the missing mother of two.

Gail Palmgren hasn't been seen since April 30th, when she dropped her children off at home.

Complete strangers are now joining the search, after seeing Gail's story on Channel 3.

Gail's friends and family say they are sure Gail and her Jeep left the mountain on April 30th.  They plan on now concentrating search efforts in other areas.

SIGNAL MOUNTAIN, HAMILTON COUNTY (WRCB) - Friends and family of a missing Signal Mountain woman are planning a detailed search this weekend.

Gail Palmgren has been missing since April 30th. She was last seen dropping off her two children at home and driving away in her red Jeep Rubicon.

Friends have organized a Facebook page called "Bring Gail Home Now". They're planning a couple of events this weekend.

On Saturday, organizers have planned "a gathering for Gail" at 4:00 p.m. at Pruett's Market on Signal Mountain. It will be followed by a prayer vigil.

Sunday afternoon, friends and family have planned a thorough search of Signal Mountain. Several search teams will comb the area between 2:00 and 4:00 p.m.

Stay with Channel 3 for more on the search for Gail Palmgren.
