LIVELINES: ALLERGY CALLS

  Asthma can be deadly and existing treatments may not always work, but one doctor in Philadelphia is testing a new compound that may help alleviate symptoms more effectively.
  The new compound is being tested in the E-R as part of a phase 2 clinical trial. Doctors say the treatment is safe, now they want to know if it works.
  Allergist, Dr. Marc Cromie was our guest.
  This is a new IV medicine,that is like the rescue nebulizer,Dr. Cromie says he feels this would help patients in severe cases.
  He also talked about the connection between allergy and asthma.
