9-year-old arrested on arson charges

CHATTANOOGA (WRCB) – Chattanooga fire investigators have charged a nine-year-old boy with arson.

The boy is accused of starting a fire in the bathroom at the Hardee's on Shallowford Road earlier this month.

The fire caused $5,000 in damage.

No one was hurt.

    The suspected gunman, 29-year-old Travis Reinking, was arrested Monday afternoon, according to the Metro Nashville Police Department.
