Police arrest Marion Co. murder suspect

CHATTANOOGA (WRCB) - Police have arrested 26-year-old Jarrod Pickett who is wanted out of Marion County on homicide charges.

He was located at the Motel 6 on Williams Street, in Downtown Chattanooga.

Pickett surrendered to police without incident and was taken to the Marion County Jail.

Pickett is a suspect in the murder of 50-year-old Kenneth Hudson.  A mail carrier found Hudson's body Monday off Shellmound Rd.

In addition to Chattanooga Police, the Marion County Sheriff's Office, TBI, and U.S. Marshal Service was involved in the capture.
