CHATTANOOGA (WRCB) – A Chattanooga business closed its door Wednesday morning, leaving about 80 people without a job.
Incentim employees found out the business was closing at a meeting Wednesday morning.
One employee told Eyewitness News they were led to believe everything was fine with the company for the past five years.
But things didn't add up when they noticed management packing boxes and loading their cars over the past few days.
"We went in and they gave us our walking papers, no explanation," says Cally Neal, an Incentium employee. "The board members who actually made the decision to close the company were not here. Nobody was present.
Neal says no one would answer any questions, and employees weren't given a severance package.
Incentium's corporate headquarters are located on Cherokee Boulevard in the North Shore.
We'll have much more on this story as it becomes available.
