BRADLEY COUNTY, TN. (WRCB)-- Bradley County Deputies, responding to a possible residential burglary in progress, bust a marijuana operation.

The discovery was made Saturday night on Mount Bethel Road.

As deputies were checking the residence for possible burglary suspects, they smelled marijuana inside, which led to the discovery of almost 200 plants after the Drug Enforcement Unit was contacted.

The plants ranged from 3 to 4 feet in height. Industrial lighting connected to timers and plant food to enhance growth was also found.

No arrests have been made and the investigation will continue.
