Today will have mild temps in the low/mid 50s, but we will also see a cold front bringing us increasing clouds and a few light showers this evening. As we move into tonight, we will see cooler air, and some light mountain snow showers moving in. There may be a little accumulation (less than an inch), and with lows tonight dropping into the mid/upper 20s we will carefully watch for trouble on some of the mountain roads Tuesday morning.
The cooler air will settle in Tuesday with highs only reaching the low 40s under partly cloudy skies.
Wednesday will be uneventful until Wednesday night. That is when our next system will move in, and this one will bring primarily snow. Right now, it looks like light snow showers will begin around 10pm, and continue into Thursday morning. Model data varies a little, but overall we can expect about 2" of snow Wednesday night into Thursday morning. Lows will be in the upper teens and low 20s, so problems on the roadways Thursday morning are very possible. Fortunately, we will warm into the low 40s Thursday afternoon, and give the snow a chance to melt a bit.
Hang in there, great weather with lots of sunshine and highs in the 50s will be here for the weekend!!
