Wednesday to be a "blustery" day

CHATTANOOGA (WRCB) - A Wind Advisory is in effect until 1pm.  Winds will range from 15-25 mph during that time.
With the passage of the front Wednesday, we will also see cooler air moving in.
Temperatures will be in the 30s for most of the day with clearing skies.
Looking ahead, the Storm Alert 3 team is watching the development of an area of low pressure that will be forming over the next 24 hours near the Gulf.  As it moves past us to the south, it will push rain and maybe even some snow into the area on Friday.
Here is how it looks like it might break down.
Friday morning temps will be in the upper 20s/low 30s.  From 7:00-10:00 a.m. we will see rain in North Georgia, a mix of rain and snow in Chattanooga, and light snow north of Chattanooga.  As temperatures warm into the 40s in the afternoon, we can expect it all to change over into light rain that will last through most of the rest of Friday.
A little of that light mix (primarily light rain) could linger into Saturday morning, but we will clear out Saturday afternoon and Sunday.
Rainfall Friday should be about .50"
Snowfall amounts about .25" north of Chattanooga
