CHATTANOOGA (WRCB) While a lot of folks on the Cumberland Plateau are still dealing with some snow and ice with below freezing temps this morning, the rest of the area seems to be fairly dry.
From this point on through the weekend we can relax a bit, and expect much nicer weather.  Mornings will still be chilly, hovering near or just below freezing, but the afternoon highs will be awesome.  Highs will be in the mid to upper 40s through, and will even climb into the mid 50s Saturday and Sunday.
Next week will be our next chance of precipitation.  A front moving through on Monday and Tuesday will bring RAIN showers for the first part of the week, and slightly cooler air (mid 40s) by midweek.
