BRADLEY COUNTY (WRCB) - A Bradley county family celebrates Christmas in January.

The Kelly family left the Christmas tree in the corner, waiting for 21 year old Kala Catlett to take leave from her duty in the U.S. Army.

Catlett is a mechanic with the 1st Infantry Division of Fort Riley, Kansas.  She was deployed in November and is now taking a 15 day break from her duty in Baghdad.

Kala Catlett says she plans to, " Spend as much time as possible with my family and my friends, and have a drink, I can drink now."

Catlett has been in the Army for a year and a half.  She hopes to come home from Baghdad in November 2012.
