Sequatchie Commissioner faces more charges

CHATTANOOGA (WRCB) A Sequatchie County Commissioner arrested for child sex crimes has now been indicted in a separate case.

34-year-old Barney Slatton now faces two counts of aggravated statutory rape for allegedly soliciting a teenage girl for sex.

Slatton posted bond Monday, his arraignment is set for Friday.

You might remember, police arrested Slatton in September at a high school football game.

Investigators said he was arrested for asking a teenage girl to have sex with him.
