CHATTANOOGA (WRCB) -- A Chattanooga man says he pulled his own weapon on armed robbers.
He was unloading his car from a trip, Monday night, on Williams Street, when two black men approached him.
The first suspect walked past him but turned back and put a gun to the victim demanding his keys. A second victim approached him and said something, then punched the victim in the face.
The victim said after being hit, he stumbled back and dropped his keys, then pulled out his own gun. As he did so, the first suspect grabbed the keys, walked into the street and fired. The suspects says he returned the fire and retreated into his home.
Once inside the victim called police. Officers were not able to locate the suspects.
The suspects were seen by witnesses getting into a white Toyota. The first suspect is described at 5'10", 150 pounds, wearing a red jacket and toboggan. He had a light complexion, curly hair and was armed with a hand gun. The second suspect was 5'6". about 130 pounds.
