CHATTANOOGA (WRCB) – It's official, Bill Haslam is now the 49th Governor of Tennessee.

Governor Haslam still has a full weekend of activities, many with a Chattanooga and Tennessee Valley connection.

Representing the Channel 3 viewing area in the inaugural parade are: Cleveland's Valley View Elementary, Chattanooga's Howard High School Band, East Ridge High School JROTC, Mayfield Dairy Cow from Athens, and Grundy County High School.

Former Hamilton County Mayor Claude Ramsey will serve as Haslam's deputy governor and chief of staff. Channel 3 Eyewitness News has a crew in Nashville to bring you local stories from the big day.

Here's a lineup of the weekend's events still to come (all times eastern):

Saturday 7:30 p.m.-- First Couple's Celebration Dinner and Dance, Opryland Hotel.

Saturday 9:00 p.m.-- Inaugural Ball, Opryland Hotel.

Sunday 12:00 p.m.- Open Houses for East and West Tennesseans, Executive Residence (Governor's Mansion). The Governor and First Lady will host citizens at their new home. Tickets are not required but an RSVP is requested. Shuttles will be provided for all guests attended the Open House. Please park at one of the following locations:
