GEORGETOWN, MEIGS COUNTY (WRCB)-- Dede Neely, the woman accused of the fatal shooting of her boyfriend, has been charged with voluntary manslaughter.

The shooting happened Wednesday morning.

Neely told police her boyfriend, Brian Cofer, had threatened to kill her if she left the night before and tried to attack her with a gun Wednesday.

When Cofer put the weapon down, Neely picked it up and shot him.

Neely's bond was set at $25,000.
