Snowfall Making History?

CHATTANOOGA, TN. (WRCB)--The snowfall on Monday January 11, 2011 totaled 8.4" at the Chattanooga Airport.  This did not rank in the top 5 biggest single-event snowfalls in the history of the Scenic City, but according to records it came close!  Here is a list showing where this latest storm ranks:

1. 20.0"  March 12-13, 1993 (The Big Blizzard of '93)
2. 11.0"  March 1-2, 1927
3. 10.2"  January 8, 1988
4. 8.7"  February 13, 1960
5. 8.6"  December 22, 1929
6. 8.4"  January 29, 1966
    8.4"  January 10, 2011 <-----
7. 8.2"  January 23, 1940
